Rough Terrain & 4WD Diesel Forklift
Built for ground that a standard yard truck cannot handle: mud, sand, slopes and unpaved sites. Four-wheel drive, larger pneumatic tyres and a stronger mast are the defining features, and the specification that matters most is traction and ground clearance rather than capacity alone.

Straight answers on Rough Terrain & 4WD Diesel Forklift
Do I really need 4WD?
Only if the ground demands it. A standard yard truck with the right tyres is cheaper to buy and run. If your site is mud, sand or slope, 4WD and larger tyres are usually the difference between a machine that works and one that gets stuck.
Can it take attachments?
Yes, commonly buckets, forks, clamps and lifting hooks. The attachment mounting standard has to be confirmed per route so a locally bought attachment will actually fit.
