A VFFS machine forms the bag from roll film, fills it and seals it in one continuous process — the most efficient format for high-volume bagged product because it eliminates pre-made bags entirely. Film width, bag format and the dosing system are the three decisions.

VFFS or pre-made bags?
VFFS is cheaper per pack at volume because film costs less than pre-made bags, but it needs more setup and changeover time. Below a certain volume, a band sealer with pre-made bags is more practical.
What film works on a VFFS machine?
Heat-sealable roll film, with the structure matched to the product's barrier needs and the machine's sealing parameters. Tell us the product and the machine model and we check compatibility.
Can it do gas flushing?
On models configured for it. If you need modified atmosphere, say so at specification stage — retrofitting is expensive.
