0.5–0.8 Ton Electric Forklift
The small end of the electric counterbalance range. These machines are built for tight aisles, light pallets and indoor work where a 1.5-ton truck is simply too much machine — and too much money. The specification that decides the machine at this size is not capacity, it is the mast and the battery, because the counterweight margin is small and every kilogram of mast and battery eats into what you can actually lift.

What this configuration means
Values are typical reference ranges. The final specification is confirmed per supplier route against your actual application.

The options we compare for this machine
We do not publish factory names before you reach quotation stage. If we did, the cheapest quote would get copied within days and stop being real. So each option is shown by region and what stands behind it — names come when you are ready to order.

Straight answers on 0.5–0.8 Ton Electric Forklift
Is a 0.5–0.8 ton electric forklift enough for a 1-ton pallet?
No. Rated capacity is quoted at a 500 mm load centre with the mast vertical. A load whose centre sits further out, or a mast at full height, reduces what the truck can safely lift. Send us the pallet weight and dimensions and we will check the margin instead of assuming.
Lead-acid or lithium at this size?
At low duty, lead-acid is usually cheaper upfront but needs a ventilated charging area and water topping-up. Lithium costs more but tolerates opportunity charging, which matters if the truck works short, frequent shifts. We compare both on your duty cycle.
Can it work in a cold room?
Cold-room work changes both battery behaviour and hydraulic performance. Tell us the temperature and the hours per shift, and we will flag what has to change on the specification.
