2.5 Ton Electric Forklift

The half-step between the 2-ton workhorse and the 3-ton heavy lifter. It exists for operations that regularly sit just above a 2-ton pallet but do not want the footprint and cost of a 3-ton truck. Because the capacity margin is narrower, the mast and load-centre details matter more here than on any other size.

Questions buyers ask

Straight answers on 2.5 Ton Electric Forklift

Is 2.5 ton a real standard size?

Yes, but availability varies more than at 2 or 3 tons. Some suppliers build it on a 3-ton chassis, which is fine — it usually means more stability margin. We tell you which chassis each route uses.

Can I lift 2.5 tons to full height?

Only if the mast and load centre allow it. Capacity falls as lift height rises on many masts. We confirm the derated capacity at your required height rather than the headline figure.
